After Donald Trump announced 34% Reciprocal Tariff on China, China also announced 34% counter tariff. Trump again levy 50% more, and China again levy 50%. So we have to see the next step, will Trump levy another 50% or 100% tariff.
Basically, more than 70 countries expressed their attitude of negotiation for Trump already said the ceiling of tariff already reached, which means all negotiation will only lower the tariff and would not make it up. Israel is the first country that his leader flied to Washington for tariff talk, South Korea already had phone talk, Japan is managing a group to DC.
Trump said that he is waiting for the call of China, the State Council of China also said that such a case should be solved by negotiation, but on the other hand at once announced counter tariff of 50%. So now that actual tariff that US levied on China is 104% and China on US is 84%. What will happen next? Both side would not compromise in order to maintain their face.

According to past record, such things did happened but not so serious, the means of solving such a problem may be on request of US, President Xi made a phone call to Trump. So that both sides can say it’s the other side took a step back first. Such a scenario already happened in the past, but do not know when will it happen again. Just hope such a scenario re-happen again, may be the other way round.
