NVDA and SpaceX Just Became Giants of Giants

It’s a quiet week for data and earnings, so this report spends it on one name instead. SpaceX just committed to using NVDA GPUs exclusively, and the report calls the pairing exactly what it is, two giants becoming a Giant of Giants.

NVDA already controls 80 to 92% of the AI GPU market, and SpaceX’s AI compute capacity is targeted to hit 10 gigawatts by 2027, part of what Jensen Huang calls the largest infrastructure expansion in human history. NVDA’s own numbers back the case, datacenter revenue up 427% year over year, with total revenue projected to reach $220 billion by fiscal 2027.

The report’s deeper argument is why chips matter more than defense stocks right now. Ukraine shifted from World War Two style convoys to drones, and in Iran, US aircraft carriers retreated a thousand miles to San Diego to avoid drone attacks. If future wars run on drones, the real war economy runs through chips, which is why Jensen Huang and Elon Musk, not any president, are the actual market movers shaping what comes next.

Underneath the NVDA optimism sits a real dissenting voice, Jim Rogers, the self-described Commodities King, told an Asian investment summit that the US is brewing its worst crisis in history and said he has liquidated all his US holdings, keeping only Chinese and Uzbek stocks.

The report’s own buy level for NVDA is $213, where the jumping gap would refill, but Jim Rogers is a reminder not everyone believes this partnership is where the next decade’s money belongs.
